PARANOIA v1.0.1 beta introduces a new post-drive 'mid' control, with tuned curves designed to reduce harshness or increase attack.
The downloads on this page are for "beta", pre-release software that has been through less user testing than full releases.
While all care has been taken, please use appropriate caution.
Rollbacks
- Rollbacks to earlier versions are possible.
- On Windows: just run the installer for a previous version.
- On macOS manual operations may be required before running an older installer. macOS generally prevents older software from installing over newer software. PARANOIA files that may need to be moved away to enable a fresh install include:
- /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/paranoia.aaxplugin
- /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/paranoia.component
- /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/paranoia.vst3
- Be careful not to move other plugins. Please contact support with any questions.
Compatibility
- These plug-ins require a compatible VST3, AU or AAX audio host running on a modern computer, such as Cockos Reaper, Ableton Live, Logic Pro or Avid Pro Tools.
- Windows releases are supported on Windows 10 and later.
- May work on earlier Windows releases, but untested and unsupported.
- macOS releases are supported on macOS Monterey 12.7 and later.
- May work on earlier macOS releases (macOS 10.13 onwards), but untested and unsupported.
